About Us

About Us: Europens

We are 4 pen specialists and our history is both short and long!!!!

Andrew & Company History: My name is Andrew and my inspiration for Europens came from years of experience running a retail and E-commerce business.  Over the last few years I realised there was a gap in the market for a different approach to writing instruments and gifts. So with nearly twenty years experience I decided that Europens.co.uk was my passion and an avenue I wanted to pursue.

Europens was launched in the summer of 2010 and our aim is to offer a website comprising of all the everyday pens and premium brands you might want or need, all under one roof.

We moved premises in March 2013 and after continually growing, year after year, we look forward to a promising future. Our aim is not to be the biggest but to offer a specialist, wide range of pens and contemporary gifts giving a customer experience that is faultless. Two new members of staff joined the Europens team in March and we now have over twenty-five years experience in the pen industry. Test us!!!

A warm welcome to all new customers and thank you to those who continue to buy from us, we know there are plenty of choices in today's on-line environment. Forth coming enhancements to our service and customer experience include, a new pen engraving machine for the personal touch, the launch of this facebook page and new brands being added to our portfolio.

For any further suggestions or anything you would like to see on Europens please email me.

Andrew Webster,

Managing Director

Now meet the rest of the team!

Steve: Here at Europens I am the in house photographer, designer and web-master creating artwork for use throughout our website and beyond. However we are a small team here and when im not at my desk I'm often found helping out in the warehouse or manning the phones.

You cannot work for a pen company without having a passing interest in pens. My own preference is for functional "workhorse" designs. With this in mind, I find that my daily writers are a Lamy 2000 Ballpoint (love its simple elegance) and a Selection of Parker Jotters and Premium Jotters with different colour refills. Ballpoints are great for office use. Not messy. And no drying time! I'm not a complete philistine though, and have a small collection of other pens that get used when I'm in the mood for a change. My favourite is a Pilot Capless retractable fountain pen in black.
When I'm not selling pens I enjoy Cycling (recently completed a short tour of France and Belgium, Bruges is awesome!), Squash and Photography.

Specialist in: Lamy, Parker, Pilot, Cross, Fisher, Yard-O-Led and Pelikan.

Jeff: Hi, my name is Jeff! I'm the youngest member on the Europen's team and what I may lack in experience, I certainly make up for in enthusiasm! My main role at Europen's is hard to define, although some would say that it's to drink all the tea and eat all the biscuits! Contrary to that, I believe my main role is to help administrate the online sales and marketing. That includes all the boring admin side of things, but I'm also occasionally allowed out of my cage and I get to do some design work. Having trained as a computer animator at University, being creative is where I feel most at home. I also get involved in the warehouse to help get all your orders to you!

My favourite pen is by far the Lamy Safari Fountain Pen, particularly the Special Edition colours. The pen itself is a very contemporary design, unspoilt by over-complicated features. It's also incredibly durable, even though it's made from plastic, it's built like a tank! Whenever my friends say that pens are boring and don't appeal to our generation, I simply show them the German designed, Lamy Safari.

When I'm not selling pens I enjoy watching films, going to restaurants with my 'soon-to-be' wife, or just hanging out with friends.

Specialist in: Lamy, Stabilo, Monteverde and Cross.
