Paperworld 2020 - New product previews
Back at the start of this month, Europens managing director Andrew Webster visited the Paperworld International Trade Fair in Frankfurt. One of the biggest stationery shows in the world, this year Paperworld had a total of 1,591 exhibitors from over 60 countries. Now he's back, Andrew has given us a few sneak peeks at some upcoming products we can expect in 2020. Let's take a look:
Sheaffer Legacy returns! - The famous Sheaffer Legacy is set to make a return in 2020, with some new finishes and of course the classic 18k inlaid nib fountain pen:
New Sheaffer Prelude models, with new "Luxe" Linear finishes, in fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint variations:
New Kaweco "Touch" models featuring a capacitive touchscreen stylus coming in 2020. Perfect for your smartphone or tablet:
Continuing the trend for pastel colours, Leuchtturm1917 will be introducing a range of muted tones to their notebook ranges. Great for adding that pop of colour to your desk!
Some more “on trend” colours from various brands. See anything you like?:
More new brands with some edgy geometric designs:
Japanese brand Platinum is bringing a new range of retractable fountain pens to market in 2020 called the "Curidas". The name “Curidas” combines the English word “curiosity” and the Japanese word “kuridasu,” which means to let out (obviously a reference to the retractable nib). Keep your eyes on www.europens.co.uk for updates:
And finally Caran d’Ache are bringing some new finishes to their Ecridor and 849 ranges. Both are sure to impress:
