Filofax
In 1921, a London based company was formed to market personal organisation systems in the UK by mail order. In 1930 they registered the trademark "Filofax", the name having derived from the description "file of facts".
Filofax is now a very well-known UK based company that is part of the Letts Group (uk). During the early 1980s, the Filofax personal organiser became extremely popular, and it was regarded as a "must-have" accessory before electric organisers became widely available.
Filofax sells a variety of personal organiser wallets and diary refills with a six-ring, loose-leaf binder system in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colours, so there's something for everyone.
