Rotring
Rotring (rOtring) is a former German manufacturer of drawing tools and writing instruments founded in 1928. Newell Brands purchased Rotring during the late '90s. Currently, the main headquarters of Rotring have been closed down, and product development and distribution are now handled by a manufacturer in Japan and several other companies.
Rotring came to dominate the market for professional drawing pens and accessories, even after the decline of conventional drafting pens due to the implementation of computer-aided design software. Rotring are still doing well due to the success of the Isograph and Rapidograph models and is a very popular brand for writing and drawing today.
