Why should I use a Fountain Pen rather than a Ballpoint Pen?

This is a question we get asked a fair bit. So here is a super quick rundown of the main reasons you should consider using a fountain pen.

Ink flow: Fountain pens use water-based ink that flows continuously from the nib, allowing for consistent and even lines. Ballpoint pens, on the other hand, use an oil based ink that requires more pressure to get the ink to flow, which can mean the ink skips, resulting in an uneven appearance. The increased pressure can also result in hand fatigue. 

Personalisation: Many fountain pen enthusiasts appreciate the ability to personalise their writing experience by selecting different nib sizes, ink colours, and even customising the pen itself (Such as our engraving service).
